How do I join Blue Light Card?
Register online to purchase your Blue Light Card. It costs just £4.99 for 2-years access to thousands of discounts available online and in-store.
Who is eligible for a Blue Light Card under the new Teachers launch?
Teaching and supporting staff working in any of the following are eligible:
1. Early Years & Primary Schools
2. Secondary Schools & 6th Form Colleges
3. Special Schools, Vocational Schools, Referral Units, and Centrally Employed
Please note that higher education staff are not currently included in this launch.
How will my employment be verified?
There are two methods of verification:
1. Instant Email Domain Verification: If you work at a primary school, you can verify instantly using your work email address.
2. Document Upload: If you work at any other eligible school type, you'll need to upload an official work ID or payslip that includes your name and school. This will be reviewed by our team, and you should receive a response within 7 days.
Please note that due to a high volume of applicants, processing times may vary slightly.

I have joined the waiting list how long will it take from my application to be approved?
It may take a few days before we’re ready to process your application to join Blue Light Card. We have been experiencing high demand for our service over the last few days and we thank you for your patience. We’ll be in touch via email or message to invite you to complete the sign-up process as soon as possible. We can’t wait to welcome you to our community!
I have paid more than once to register for Blue Light Card. How can I get a refund?
Due to the high demand we have experienced some issues with our website and app. We are really sorry for this and are in the process of contacting all those affected to confirm that we are in the process of refunding duplicate payments and that no further action is required. Refunds can take up to 10 days to appear, depending on banking provider.
