April Fool! Blue Light Card launches dating app
April Fool! We hate to break your hearts, but we're not actually releasing a dating app...
But we do have some good news 😉 You can fool around with our Lovehoney competition!
Who said romance was dead?
. . .
We’re delighted to announce the launch of Blue Light Card Dates, an exclusive dating app for members to meet like-minded professionals looking for love.
Our tech developers have been working day and night to build an app to help bring together lonely hearts across the Blue Light community build new relationships, have some fun and maybe even find their soulmate.
Blue Light Card CEO, Tom Dalby said, “We know that our members lead busy lives, and it can be hard to make the time to meet someone or go on a date. Many are nervous about putting themselves out there, but we hope to change that by making the experience so easy that they can’t help falling in love. With Blue Light Card Dates, “I don’t want no scrubs” just doesn’t apply (unless of course, things go particularly well...)
“When we spoke to our members ahead of Valentine’s Day, it was clear many had found love through work, despite the long-hours and their shift patterns. However, for those that are single, it gave us the idea to build a platform enabling our community to get to know each other in their own time, without the immediate pressures of meeting up for a drink or going out-out”
We hope the dating app will make it easier than ever for people to find love and enjoy the company of others who understand the challenges associated with working in the emergency services, NHS and social care sector.
No more gazing at each other across crowded rooms, this is the real deal!
More information on how you can sign up for Blue Light Card Dates will be available soon.
