Urgent Appeal - Children\'s Air Ambulance

Our charity partner needs your help.

\The Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic continues to dominate our entire way of life and is causing harm to many people. All our thoughts are with those who are suffering and every individual who is doing their utmost to help. The Children’s Air Ambulance is a key organisation at the frontline of emergency care. It supports the efforts of the NHS by providing a lifesaving transfer service for critically ill babies and children, flying them to major children’s hospitals across the UK. This is an important voluntary funded service that is provided completely free of charge to the NHS.

Prior to this pandemic, one of the most crucial sources of funds for the charity was a network of 20 shops. These shops are now closed and they are also losing vital funds raised from their reuse, recycling and clothing collections. These losses amount to £348,000 a month and they simply cannot afford to lose these vital funds, and keep the helicopters flying every day. If they stop flying, more babies and children will be at risk. We cannot let this happen. We acknowledge the struggles people are experiencing at the moment and know the Children’s Air Ambulance are not alone in this suffering.

If you are one of the fortunate ones who is still able to support them, then all they ask is for any donation you can make. I need to ask for your urgent help to keep the Children’s Air Ambulance flying.
