These terms and conditions govern your use of the Blue Light Card website, both with the Free Online account. Please read through the terms and conditions carefully. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions, do not use this Website. If you do use the Website, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions, and do not hold The Blue Light Card or any of it's employees or directors or share holders accountable for any information contained or not contained with their website.

1.The Blue Light Card provides discount codes for companies offering goods and services. The transactions that take place with these companies are done through their external sites and thus are not completed on The Blue Light Card website. Thus it is the companies that are responsible for the transaction security on any purchases made.

2.The Blue Light Card reserves the right to remove any user for the site and revoke their membership without prior warning if it feels the member is a breach to security or could be in the future.

3.The Blue Light Card Ltd reserve the right to remove any user found to be abusing the discount codes provided and ban them from the website or card. This can be conducted without consent of the member.

4.Registered members are responsible for the safe keeping of user names and passwords and must make sure that they take all necessary steps to disclose information for unauthorised users. Thus The Blue Light Card Ltd reserve the right to ask any of its members to change their password at any point it deems necessary.

5.Members must not create multiple accounts or try to change their member ID. If a password is forgotten or lost then the user must go through the appropriate route of the forgotten password link. Members must contact the Blue Light Card if this cannot be achieved or if further problems occur.

6.Members must make sure that their information is correct and up to date at all times. If any change of status occurs members are required to change these or inform the Blue Light Card of any changes.

7.The use of this website is reserved for those of the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services and those of the NHS as well as all those associated with these services. Any member found not to be part of these will be immediately removed from the Blue Light Card website.

8.Other advertisements contained on the Blue Light Card website contain materials created and submitted by third parties. The Blue Light Card Ltd excludes all liability for this material and any illegality that may arise from these.

9.The Blue Light Card Ltd website contains links to third party websites that are not maintained or controlled by the Blue Light Card. Whilst The Blue Light Card does pick its companies carefully it cannot be held liable for any material on these sites and any illegal or wrong information on these sites.

10. Law governing the Terms and Conditions on this website shall be subject to only the laws of England and Wales which shall exclusively govern the interpretation, application and effect of all the above permissions, exclusions, licenses and conditions of use.

11.The Blue Light Card Ltd endeavours to maintain the service it provides are being free from defects though it is not responsible or liable for any consequential loss or damaged for any errors or omissions within the service.

12.All trademarks referred to on this website are acknowledged as the property of their respective owners. The Blue Light Card Ltd, its directors and its employees cannot be liable for any copyright or trademark infringements.

13. The Blue Light Card will donate £1.50 of every full price card sale priced at £9.99.  If the card does not retail at this price Blue Light Card have the right to withdraw from paying £1.50 and may choose a different amount or no donation at all.  Blue Light Card may if it wishes use the funds to support other charitable schemes though it will always inform its members what it is doing with the donations.

14.The Blue Light Card offer a standard 14 day cool off period from the date of receipt in which you can contact the team to cancel your membership to the Premium Account.  The account status will be changed back to the Free Online Account upon cancellation  and no transactions can be made using the Premium Account details after this point unless the account is again upgraded.  A full refund will be issued once the request is submitted and the account status is changed.   (go back)

Terms and Conditions for the High Street Card.

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Blue Light Card High Street Card. Please read through the terms and conditions carefully. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions, please do not register for a card. If you do purchase a card, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below.

1.The Blue Light Card provides discounts with companies offering goods and services. The transactions that take place with these companies are conducted with the company and not with the Blue Light Card.  Thus it is the companies that are responsible for the transaction security on any purchases made.

2.The Blue Light Card reserves the right to remove any user for the site and revoke their membership card without prior warning if it feels the member is a breach to security or could be in the future.

3.The Blue Light Card reserve the right to remove card from any user found to be abusing the card or online discount codes provided and ban them from the website or card use. This can be conducted without consent of the member.

4.Members are responsible for the safe keeping of their card and must make sure that they do not lose their card.  If this is lost or stolen members must inform the Blue Light Card and make them aware of this.  New cards will be issued at the full price of £9.99 with the same £1.50 being donated to charity.

5.Members must not create multiple accounts or try to order multiple cards.  The Blue Light Card limits one card per member, per account, which can only be used by this individual to obtain discounts.

6.Members must make sure that their information is correct and up to date at all times. If any change of status occurs members are required to change this information or inform the Blue Light Card.  Before a card is ordered members must make sure that their current work address is up to date.  This is where the card is sent out to and thus will not be sent if this is not fully completed.  The Blue Light Card cannot be held responsible if this is not up to date and a card is sent out to a previous or wrong address due to members not updating this information.

7.Companies offering discount on the Blue Light Card High Street Card reserve the right to withdraw or change their offer at any point.  The Blue Light Card therefore cannot be held responsible if a member cannot claim a previously advertised discount.

8.The Blue Light Card will ensure that each offer has an expiry date listed if applicable on the offer page of the Blue Light Card website.

9.The use of this card is reserved for those of the Police, Fire, Ambulance and NHS services as well as all those associated with these services. Any member found not to be part of these will be immediately removed from the Blue Light Card website and card without refund or consent.

10.The Blue Light Card uses the royal mail as its standard mailing provider.  The Blue Light Card aims to get the card to you within 7 days though cannot be held responsible if this external service does not deliver within this allotted time.  Also the 7 day delivery period does not take into account your services internal mailing system.

11.The Blue Light Card website contains links to third party websites that are not maintained or controlled by the Blue Light Card. Whilst The Blue Light Card does pick its companies carefully it cannot be held liable for any material on these sites and any illegal or wrong information on these sites.

16.The Blue Light Card offer a standard 14 day cool off period from the date of receipt in which you can contact the team to cancel your membership to the high street card.  The card must be returned upon cancellation in the condition to which it was received before any refund can be authorised.  The Blue Light Card cannot be responsible for the postage cost in returning the card. All work information provided is used in order to make sure that members do qualify to use the service and so that the service is not abused by those who do not belong to those organisations. All other information provided is used to improve the services of the Blue Light Card and allow the Blue Light Card to contact members with extra services that they may provide.

We do not make any personally identifiable information available to other companies or individuals for their contact purposes. We do aggregate information to demonstrate overall trends and preferences of the member base with advertisers and other third parties for marketing, promotional and other purposes. We do not disclose to these entities any information that would be used to contact you personally.
Users automatically opt-in to receive our electronic newsletters. Users may remove themselves from mailing lists at any time through contacting info@bluelightcard.co.uk

A certain level of personal information is required when registering with our site and opting not to provide this information will mean that you may not be able to use our website. The information is required in order to maintain security of the website, our members and our third party companies.

As a registered member you can update your personally identifiable details in the members area. Members can change their information at any time and as often as necessary. This is especially important if you change your email address or work information.
